The Director is responsible for special events, workshops, tours of statewide programs including planning, solicitation of sponsors and other donors, media event program and follow-up.Define a strategy for cultivating and leveraging our formidiable donor base to substantially expand individual major gifts fundraising.Conduct face-to-face solicitations with prospects and donorsThe Director will work with Board Members, Executive Director and Corporate to identify prospective donors and oversee strategies for involving the Board in donor cultivation and solicitation. He/she will coordinate and facilitate the Board's involvement in meeting personal fundraising goals.Perform donor researchAdministrative Responsibility:The Director monitors the information included in the fund raising database and maintains gift reporting systems i.e. gift processing, donor tracking and data analysis.The Director is responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual fund raising analysis reports.The Director will oversee the development of the grant proposal process.The Director will monitor and supervise department budget and resource utilization.The Director is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of statewide development plan.Keywords: Fundraising, Grant Writing, Proposals, External Affairs, Development, Major Gifts, Public Relations, MarketingLocation: Office will be based in West Deptford, but requires travel statewide to the Lower central to Northern Tier of the state.Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, however, the position requires statewide travel for meetings, event attendance in the evenings and some weekends.Salary: Salary commensurate with experience and education.
