Details: Community Support Specialist - located in Camp Hill, PA.Position requires daytime, evening, weekend, overnight, and holiday hours, as needed by persons using services. Overtime hours may be required. Schedules will vary.The position of Community Support Specialist exists to teach, coach, be a role model, and accompany individuals so that they are involved in family, neighborhood, civic, cultural, and religious activities and events, meet new people, develop friendships, exercise choices, and acquire the competencies to maintain these activities and accomplish personal goals. ' Conduct and maintain a healthy and safe environment for the individuals residing in the home(s).' Ensure implementation of the comprehensive care of residents as addressed in the ISP.' Assist and counsel Individuals in their development of self-help skills (i.e., self-care, housekeeping, cooking, etc.)' Ascertain that the nutritional needs of the residents are adequately met.' Supervise cooking and housekeeping responsibilities in a manner that will promote the maximum development of the residents.' Maintain the physical upkeep of the residence(s), particularly with regards to cleanliness. ' Record expenditures correctly on appropriate forms.' Ensure that the residents receive appropriate medical attention and medical treatment.' Provide transportation to Individuals through use of personal vehicle as needed.' Provide program coverage as scheduled or required by supervisor(s).
