PA Adult Services is currently seeking Full-time Direct Support Professionals for various Residential & Community homes in Berwyn area. The Direct Support Professional will oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled adults and partner with these individuals to facilitate daily care enhance personal development, foster self-esteem and meet or exceed individualized goals for success. Hours available:7-3pm3-11pm11pm-7aJob Functions:- Accompanies Individuals on community life outings, medical appointments, and other activities- Responsible for meal preparation, room care and personal hygiene- Ensure Individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment- Assist and support in the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of Individuals- Assist and support Individuals in learning a range of skills related to personal care, daily living, communication, mobility, travel, leisure/recreation, social interaction and responsible decision making.Key Words: autism, developmental disability, residential counselor, mental health, human services, mental retardation, behavioral, IDD, sociology, psychology
