Business Development Associate

Details: We invite you to bring your not-for-profit, strategic business development experience to The Glenholme School, where the selected candidate will implement development initiatives and strategies, coordinate alumni events and research grant opportunities which will include building relationships with individuals, local community and government agencies, civic organizations, corporations, foundations and volunteers.  The business development associate ensures that The Glenholme School achieves its organizational objectives in the fund/friend raising strategic plan to position The Glenholme School as a "Charity of Choice", working closely with staff and board members to encourage solid community partnerships, resulting in familiarity with Glenholme's mission and an increase in major gifts. Conduct solicitations with prospects and donors, identify prospective donors and perform donor research. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the excitement of building relationships, working to continually improve and refine systems and achieve goals.    Essential Functions:Research and initiate /develop relationships between and amongst The Glenholme School's operating entities and external customers.  Assist and fulfill Glenholme's short and long-term marketing objectives.Maintains computerized records of prospects, and contact persons and produces timely reports using the information in the data base. The business development associate monitors the information included in the fund raising database and maintains gift reporting systems, i.e. gift processing, donor tracking and data analysis and data entry.
